Wanted - 06MY > Tow Bar Armature - VUB503960

Shot in the dark ?

As above - I' ve been looking on the usual suspects for one of these for a while Rolling Eyes
Does anybody out there have one for sale ? I'm not concerned about it's condition, so long as it is serviceable/straight.

Just to confirm - it's the armature - the beam behind the bumper attached to the chassis members to attach the tow attachment to. I don't need the electrics, thanks, or any tow attachment (particularly NOT the removeable one which from reading on here, doesn't want to remove Shocked )

Ta V much

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

And to sort of, but not really, hijack Tug's thread, I quite fancy changing my farmers' hitch for a detachable, so if anyone is looking to offload a complete kit, I'll take the hardware Tug does not want (hitch, receiver, boot storage case, keys etc). Have been advised it is available for £200 new from PF Jones, but can't quite justify that just now for appearance alone.

If neither of these guys take the offer I'm after one as well for a MY02. I've got everything else. Regards

Do you know that you can get a quick release pin for the farmers instead of the bolt ?

Mine detaches quicker than the 'detachable' one and looks neater when its off too. The only problem is that it doesn't fit in the little boot cubby. It also rattles a bit more but that's what the volume knob is for Very Happy

Alastair,

Yebbut

1) mine is rusted solid so absolute opposite of quick release and
2) it is soo ugly, and the qr is soo shiny, and I'm a complete tart and a sucker for shiny things.

Anyway, got my QR now, and delighted to report Ian is a smashing chap with excellent taste in toys (some Very shiny).

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Fuji White

Well I am looking for one of these now too.
looking for the Westfalia towbar armature for a 2011 Range Rover L322
I already have VUB000730 tow ball etc so it is to suit that.
Some listings including Britpart list VUB503960 but show a Witter one with fixed flange.

Thanks for your help if anyone has one.
Heading for Billing later this month (hopefully) so could be passing. 2011 Disco 4
