R A N G E R O V E R - rear lettering

I'm going to buy some new lettering for the tail gate and wondering about the best / most accurate method to fit them? I've seen those templates on the 'bay' but they tend to come as a kit.

Anyone any suggestions?

England 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Giverny Green

Run masking tape top and bottom of the existing lettering (or somone elses) and mark out the lettering edges and then either clean up and apply new lettering or remove tape, clean up and reapply marked up tape.
If you take the tape off you need to measure the outside of the "R" from the tailgate edge so that it goes back in same place.

Just replaced mine after the dreaded rust not rust according to LR and had to have my upper tailgate re-sprayed and mine came on a strip pre spaced just apply centrally and level Thumbs Up 2008 MY Supercharged
Rimini Red / Jet
four zone climate
remote park heater
and no ugly kid windows.

While your at it you should consider the brighter silver lettering as on the 2010 model I plan to change mine as I have some chips in my upper boot lid that I will get resprayed at some point and will also replace bonnet ones also. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

This is a good shout, just need to find someone with an ffrr, who will let me use there tail gate for a short while. If anyone's bored at the weekend and fancies making me a template, I'll happily pay or make a donation to the forum Thumbs Up

I was going to do the 2010 letters but its £75 for the front and rear, cant do just one and that cost is hard to swallow when my original letters are fine Sad
