hi all, i have just got my hands on one of the 2010 smart key, well its a lovely bit of kit and looks great, what i wanted to know was if i could get it to work in any why with my 2004 range rover,i have the old style 3 button remote key and is as ugly as you could get, the later ones are nice flip remotes but they wont work,so i am told...so i got this one, it has a small compartment on the side that flicks open but no key in there, it has 5 buttons and is solid and heavy,feels great. any help or ideas would be great

hi, does any one have a 2010 smart key, has it got a key in the side of it...

If you unclip the side part where it says "range rover" theres an emergency key in there.

The key should be inside for the vehicle its associated to. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

hi, thanks ..it does open but no key, i will be phoning the dealers first thing to see if i can get one, managed to open the oter side and the batt is there,

Its almost identical to a Focus ST-2 2008 I own.....same style and key is inside. If you have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all.
