This is the biggest lodge onsite, lots of sizes to choose from. We've had a few long weekends there. Golf course and fishing onsite as well. Good restaurant and country club. And no, I don't work for them...! As I say, had some good long weekends there... Previously..

I'd recommend The Carrick on Loch Lomond. It's part of the De Vere group who one Cameron House but it's a bit more exclusive. Fantastic golf course and amazing spa with roof terrace pool overlooking Ben Lomond.

+1 for this - make sure it's the Carrick as some of the lodges at Cameron House itself are knocking on a bit. If you fancy a short trip across the water, Auchrannie House on the Isle of Arran is fantastic - and a wee bit closer to down-south land. Finally, if you are minted, you'll struggle to beat the lodges at Gleneagles.
