obd leads

Question im a little confused re the leads for the eas ,can leads and software for the p38 be used on the l322 to clear suspension faults ? as some say yes and some say no. If so which lead software bundle do i go for ?as im sick of the error message on my dash. my local specialist has cleared the fault once but its back and he's booked up for another 3-4 weeks yet, Any help or advice much appreciated Confused

Is it not a better idea to fix the problem rather than clearing the error messages? Discovery 4 HSE

OBDII is different to the EAS stuff (although it's all accessed over the same port)

Your OBD Scanner/leads/software will all work fine on any vehicle made from 1996, whether it's a P38, L322, Defender, Renault, Ford etc etc

Your EAS Hardware/leads/software WILL NOT work from a P38 to an L322 from everything that I've read unless it's something like ROvacom with the associated unlcoked modules? (not sure how all that works, I go for the equiv free software)

What are you currently using?

this is why i need to obtain some software and lead so that the cause can be found and rectified, as i believe when the problem is fixed the error message will be removed itself as the car checks the systems quite often, hence asking for advice re where ro get the lead and software. thanks

When you took it to the garage to get the fault cleared, did they tell you what the fault was?
