Oil service

Just called my local dealer for a price on an oil inspection service on a 2006 4.4 petrol Vogue. £460! Shocked

No wonder they call them stealers, think I'll try an independent.

2hrs labour a filter and some oil, they should be wearing a mask.

Yep,

Going to give the Independent Landrover Service Center a try, someone on here once recommended them. Anyway £200 plus vat sounds better.

filters cost about £15, and the oil £50 so £460 is Censored

It costs me $85.00 at my dealer. That is cheaper than I can do it for. I asked they how can they do it so cheap, and they said it because they get their oil cheap in bulk...Good for me! 2006 RR 4.4 HSE

Perfect if you do not need to maintain a FSH for re-sale reasons.

Exactly Gaz.

I'm more than able to do it myself, its just that the car has a full LR Main dealer history and for the sake of a £100 or so, Ill keep it that way-ish. Just wish my local dealer would do it for £130 Mr. Green

Apparently, they do a strip and clean of all the brakes at this place in with the cost.

Thanks for all the comments chaps.
