However without facelift and with that mileage it would have probably gone for at least 3k less.... |

Always makes me laugh how much they talk up how it has been 'professionally' upgraded to look like 2010 then they do something so basic as leaving the Land Rover badge on the tailgate... |

I've said this before but I don't believe facelifts, new wheel etc increase a cars value. However they can make it easier to sell. FFRR TD6 HSE

I imagine the average knuckle-dragger is only interested in a 2010-onwards conversion these days, hence less demand and greater availability of the 2006-2009 bits. |

I wonder how much additional premium an insurer would be looking for for doing this sort of modification - it doesn't enhance the performance but it does make the car appear newer than it is, thus more expensive and possibly more desirable to lowlifes to steal. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

The issue would come when you have a front end smack - if you took it to a LR garage they wouldnt be able to repair it. A lot of these "upgrades" involve cutting/re-shaping the wings. No bodyshop is going to want to touch it for an ins co. |
