Members with Faultmate

Are there any members out there with a fault mate that would be happy for me to meet up?

I still have no Bluetooth, but I've been told I can activate it using a faultmate.

Thank you Thumbs Up

You need someone with a multi-vehicle unit and there aren't too many of those for the FFRR. You might struggle with this one.

If you ask BBS about the cost of the specific module you would need and find someone who can purchase that software module in MV format. That's about the cheapest way of doing it.

I have a brand new module from LR.

It still didn't solve the problem. I tried my new module in my mates car today and it works perfectly.

Wiggs thinks my CCF needs to be accessed and Bluetooth activated.

Faultmate is supposed to be the only way Big Cry

If your car originally had BT then it doesn't make sense that it would need "turning on"? Especially if it worked OK in ur friends car. I don't think the modules need "activating to the car" or anything like that?

I'm no expert when it comes to BT though, and in this instance will bow to Wiggs as he has lots of experience in this field.

I have had a couple of occasions were the bluetooth setting has been switched off for some strange reason .Re - enabling it got the bluetooth working again ( unfortunatly i only have a licence for the D3 , D4 )

The bluetooths dont need to be proggramed for the car ...but the car needs to know it has bluetooth fitted
