Did both of mine a couple of weeks ago. Jacked the car up undid the ball joint bolt then gave it 2 sharp knocks with a hammer and they were out. You will need a 24mm ring spanner and a 15 or 16mm to separate the inner and outer track rods. Undo the bolt and then count the turns off and then screw the new one on the same number to get a good stab at centre. All in all a quick job, i did both in under 30 mins.

if its ball joints your changing are they the ones with the two holes eigher side of the body for the torx bolts to hold them in if so get a big drift to use for hitting with a hammer and a blow lamp for heating the hub up as when i did mine they were siezed in and i had to destroy them to get out furtunnatley the come out from the bottom when you remove the two torx bolts onto no6 Range Rover

I have sussed that the awful squeaking from the rear right suspension is due at least in part to the lower hub bush allows about an inch and a half play with the wheel off! Though I think some of the squeak is coming from the bushes between upper wishbone and the body too because of this waggling.
