Ref the "Ex Police" info don't be fooled . . . . I read the only ones used as "Chief Constable chaffeur cars" were a handful in Scotland - the Police Authorities who rubber stamped them for purchase and use got a right slating !
Is there an "S" on the VRM - denoting a Scottish registration ? I saw one of these for sale when looking for mine - nice car, but too basic for "the missus".
From my own experience, I wouldn't go near an Ex Police - Well serviced, yes. But caned from freezing temperatures, NO ! Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Have to agree Tug, yes they're serviced regularly, but do you think on a sub-zero winters morning, they're going to drive gently on an emergency call until the engines fully up to temp? Are they hell! They will be thrashed from cold to get to where they're going as quick as possible. 2006 Mercedes CLS
