Well, they flushed it, new filter and fluid.

No difference, same issue.

The mechanic said the old fluid looked ok and seems to think it's not gearbox related.
His recommended getting the diff recall work done to eliminate that.

Guy Salmon are still saying the recall work can't be done till end of September due to back order on parts.

Due to the vibration they have raised my job to 'critical'. This hopefully means it will get done sooner.

The Guy Salmon service guy did say the diff issue could cause vibration

Fingers crossed, if not it's back to Tooting for another go.

I'm eager to see what is causing it..

Have the same problem, feels like driving over a cattle grid when gently accelerating at low revs above ~50mph

it's fine when not increasing speed or at mid/high revs.. keep us updated Paul! Thumbs Up

Just give a LR main dealer your VIN number and they can confirm it mate.

Where in Surrey are you?

Any news Paul?

I've had the diff recall done in 2008 so it's not related to that Confused

I think I solved it yesterday

Check your tire pressures!!

They should be exactly 2.5 for back and 2.4 at the front.. all my tires were around ~2.2 but the rear right was slightly lower.. pumped all back to correct pressures and on the short test drive after, didn't noticed any vibration at all.

It was only a short drive and I didn't get above 50 (bloody caravaners!) and the car never really had a chance to warm up so I can't be 100% sure, but it seemed promising.

I'm away ATM so no update.

The guy I bought the car from has asked me to get the diff recall done before he will undertake any further investigation.

Guy Salmon are still saying it's weeks away, but when I get back I will be asking again Big Cry

I did rule out any tyre issues with a complete change of wheels and tyres, but I will check the pressures.

Checked my pressures but still humming on low revs anywhere between 30 mph upwards and 1500 to 2000 rpm I'm going to a gearbox specialist Friday for an oil and filter change and to check if there's any signs of early failure of the torque convertor
I think this might be expensive Big Cry
