External temp 20 degrees C, internal temp set at 22 degrees C. About an hour and a half run but only 50 miles due to traffic. Parked up in a Tescos for supplies. On return noticed damp patch under gearbox (could see a slow drip from that area) so moved FFRR to investigate. Smelt and tasted (yeah!) like water.

Love it, indeed I do! All that water would othehrwise be wreaking havoc with your electrics, making your leather sticky(rotten over time) and making you sweat more. Leave it on all year round for clear windows ![]() ![]() |

This reminds me of a story when a freind of mine was a saftey engineer. he was doing an assessment on a truck that had a glider launch winch at HMS Dadelus in hampshire. He was driven down to the end of the runway by a 20 something spotty RAF tech, got out and started his inspection. He noticed there was a liquid on the winch gear, and suspecting it was a leek. Not being able to locate its source of the leek did the 'touch and taste test' to see if it was indeed oil. at this point he noticed the RAF tech smirking, when he enquired why, the irk replyed "Well, thats not a leek, you see when we are down this end of the runway, its a long way to the gents.." True story. __________________ 2015 FFRR SDV8 2011 FFRR TDV8 4.4 - Gone 2005 FFRR TDV6 - Gone |
