Dan, I was contacted on another forum about the query I put up there too - the Army repsonded! It's in for a repair and then prepping for a photoshot for publicity material so has to look it's best and it's cheaper to do that outwith their own workshops.................... and frees up soldiers to go to Helmand Province to repair Land Rovers that have suffered more serious damage 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

Publicity shoot?!? Crikey, outsourcing something that the Army do so well... mind you, it's not unusual to send vehicles into a contractor for a respray before a big parade! |
