FFRR trip - salisbury plain december 2011

Just a heads up for those who would want to attend another event the same as the april one, the Disco3 Club who hosted us last time have another event in december. See the link.

Job's a good 'un. Thanks.

So an update on the event. Definitely going ahead and everyone is welcome. It will be a non-damaging event by design. However, nothing is guaranteed; it is POSSIBLE to sustain some damage even on the softest of off-road courses. But, I know of at least one BMW X5 which will be joining us so the route will be designed around that.

It will be along the lines of:
10am meet, jetboils in the car park. (all D3 owners have a jetboil. Us FFRR'ers use a flask)
Lanes and plain driving
stop for lunch (D3 owners tend to have a full kitchens in the back of the vehicle. Us FFRR'ers can take a box of sarnies)
More driving
Fords to wash off
Pub for dinner

So the cost is free, officially at least. The chaps who will be the group leaders are going anyway. A donation is appropriate though.
