Message...vehicle raising slowly

Hi all...
I removed my rear wheel to investigate a creaking noise in the rear suspension. Once I was finished, I replaced the wheel. I now get a message that says the "vehicle is lifting slowly" whenever I adjust the height. The compressor seems to cycle more often now too. I raised the suspension and left the drivers door open overnight so the system would not adjust. The next morning everything was still level, so I suppose there are no leaks in the air spring.
When I had the wheel off I was feeling around the area trying to find the creaking noise, I wonder if I messed up the height sensor or something.
Other than getting the message, and the compressor cycling more often, everything else seems ok.
Any ideas??? 2006 RR 4.4 HSE

The message means it is taking longer than expected to raise the car - this is usually after a few requests, so the reservoir is empty and the pump is hot.

If you've been playing with it then the reservoir could be empty - then it takes longer to raise as well as longer to fill the reservoir. Once the compressor reaches a set temperature it no longer fills the reservoir too. So maybe try again in an hour or so?

I doubt it would have anything to do with a height sensor. Your creaking rear suspension would no doubt be the infamous rear bush - they cause creaking/groaning when worn, typically the noise goes away when wet...

Thanks for the info.....I did notice that when I jacked up the RR, I had to really extend it to get the wheel off of the ground....do you think that may have had something to do with it. I had the height in access mode, but I didn't think to open a door or disconnect the battery. The wheel did lower a few times while I was jacking it.
Thanks for your help..

Also, is your opinion, that rear bushing something that could be done at home? 2006 RR 4.4 HSE
