The dent repair chappy is here this morning, he looked at the crease I have on the passenger door, wound the window down and said he can't touch it cos the side glass is laminated and they crack so easily if he tries to get a rod down the window.

If you wind down your front windows, and look at the glass edge, does it have 2 layers like mine? Was this standard, are they all like this?

So, no easy way to fix the dent afterall!  Discovery 4 HSE

Adam, just a thought but some paintless dent repair chaps will tackle a dent if they can drill a small hole in the door frame using a hole cutter to give an alternative access route - simply plug it with a rubber grommit - think it was 1/2" or 3/4". I had this on another vehicle where there was no access to the rear of the panel - mind you it was 15 years ago when dentmaster were in their infancy...

Vogue, this is what he's going to try, the hole will be underneath the inner door seal and therefore invisble. Discovery 4 HSE

I've got the laminated glass on my Sept 06 RR VSE. I take it the likes of Dentmaster can't use their vacuum system to suck out the crease then, too long etc. Steve
