If your's is the Bmw engine it doesn't have a cover you need to remove to access the sump plug. It least mine hasn't got one, just done an oil change.

Thanks! That would explain why I couldn't find anything on the net about a cover! I thought the previous owner had taken it off and didn't bother to put it back! Reformed |
