Not sure about a carrier for 4 bikes without having the towbar requirement...

...however I have just got one of these racks which carries 3 bikes...

Admittedly, I have it fitted to a Mk5 Golf but it is quite universal and each of the legs can be be adjusted to fit saloons, hatchbacks and 4x4s

I recently purchased the new Thule 3 bike carrier, with the additional bike mount.
see this thread, scroll down to bottom of thread for pics of mounted carrier with bikes.

i particularly like this one as it pivots whilst fully laden, to get access to boot

For 4 bikes you really have 2 choices, get a tow bar fitted and buy a rack that clamps to that or put them on the roof.

I've done both & either way, I'd recommend Thule.

Personally I would get a tow bar fitted, a world of options then open up for you...

Like a nice little trailer that can carry the bikes without risking paintwork damage to the FFRR............... and not wasting a heap of fuel driving with them on the roof. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Since buying my bike rack months ago I have used it 0 times and tripped over it in the garage 100 times.
