I love the 911 BYE plate darrenmax posted. Those GTR's are a serious bit of performance kit just a shame its a Datsun/ Nissan brand.

The GTR is an awesome car... but the running costs make a FFRR look like a cheap car to keep. Shocked

Is it seriously expensive on upkeep? I thought it would be pretty good excluding tyres and brakes etc.. Surprised

I looked at getting one (going a bit off topic here...)

A service every 6 months (or 6k miles if sooner) at about £700. Add a set of tyres every 10k to 15k at £500 a corner if you want the proper ones. Front brakes are £1700... and so on. A lot do mods which cost a lot too.
Insurance was three times what I pay on the FFRR.

Figured the FFRR was more sensible option as I do 20k miles a year. And I get a better view. Wink

In Albert Place Stirling this afternoon MK 4000 on a Silver Vogue, parked outside the artshop & left with the engine running............ and a passenger in the front seat Mr. Green

And not on a FFRR but a Q7 badged as a V10TD at Loch Lomondside this afternoon N150 BEL re-arranged to read N ISOBEL......................... certain;y didn't sound like a V10 diesel, more like a tractor so I suspect it was really a 3.0Tdi 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Yesterday those that shoot small birds were out shooting on the island and apart from an 07 plate S/C Vogue Se which with petrol at £3.90 a litre must be a costly vehicle to bring over to the island (although at an average of on 20 mpg the TDV8 isn't exactly an economy car with all the short trips and max speed of 35mph on the island roads) parked with the FFRR was a Landcruiser on the plate OH51SHT which I think is meant to read Oh Censored  2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

To get diesel and gasoline out to the island requires a special trip for the ferry with no passengers onboard so they bring fuel out about twice a year and fill the airport dump with avgas at the same time. Locals get duty free diesel but not the visitors 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
