Alarm goes off for no reason @ 11:15pm every night!! Help!!

Hi all, this is a bit of a weird one but maybe someone else has has something like this and may know how to help.

for some reason my alarm goes off everynight from 11pm to about 1130pm nearly every night, and has started doing this over the last 2 weeks.

no windows are left open, nothing is moving inside, its parked on my drive down my quiet road, and goes off for no reason whatsoever. its really annoying, because sometimes i'll turn it off, and it will be ok, and sometimes it will goes of 5 mins later.

is there something i can do about this? or do i have to go to the dealer and get it plugged in and checked?

it never goes off any other time, and there are no other faults with it.

its a 2004 vogue, standard with no engine maps, or chips or anything else like that, apart from a set of 20's its the same as it rolled off the production line.

can anyone help at all?

cheers

Austin

^^^^ why don't we all do that, then we don't have to speak to or interact with anyone. I hate talking to people who have the same interests as me, I think I'll just get a book on it and read it on my own.

Hey Austin, I know what you mean but scarey does have a point. Doing a forum search on the word alarm turned up two threads about this very problem in the first four results. You could have joined that thread and had a conversation there or praised the original poster. .

You might be able to fix it, I doused mine in WD40 followed by switch cleaner and gave it a good few ins and outs - oh err missis............... and it's fine now. Geoff
