I have an l322 02 4.4 petrol and have a couple of issues
1st NSF door started playing up and not unlocking itself when the key was pressed
You can hear the motor trying to push the pin up but 9 times out of 10 it stays flush with the door card and won't unlock the door. I have sprayed ptfe type lubricant down the pin but no joy. It has now started to not even pop the button up when pulling the interior door handle. New lock ???

I was going to wait until I could find a new lock cheap but I think it may have started another problem !

2nd air susp inactive message on dash. The airbags are still inflated so no leaks checked the pump etc all seem ok
. It seems like a soft fault as the height indicator on the panel is lit but won't allow any height change.
Could this be related to the door fault ?
The fault just pinged up after parking the can no speed bumps etc

I am a Vauxhall tech but my code reader won't access the eas system
Any ideas guys?
Any local code reader owners local to stanfordmle hope in Essex

( will the eas ecu reset if it is the door lock causing the fault and remove the message from the dash ? )

Regarding your Air Suspension Issue, you may be able to clear it by Starting up the engine and then turning the steering wheel all the way to the left then all the way to the right.

The side door latches incorporate a sensor to provide a door status signal to the BCU.
The EAS is inactive when a door is is sensed as being open.
I think your door latch / acutuator unit apparently being faulty could be linked to your EAS fault ie the "Air Suspension Inactive" message.
The same message appears when you leave a door open by mistake.
(How do I know that? )
I would concentrate on the door lock if I was you before worrying about the EAS "fault".

Fitted new door lock only took 5 mins max
Locking etc all working now BUT !!

The air susp inactive message still on dash and now don't have any lights on the adjustment panel !

Do I need to reset the ecu or something ?

Yeh tried it before I replaced the door lock will try it again

Didn't work again.
I unplugged the compressor before I changed the door lock would that now put the ecu into hard fault ? Will it req a reset ?
Can I power up the compressor from the plug to check it works etc ( anyone got a wiring diagram )

Looks like a trip to an Indy how much ave is it for a code readout ? Anyone recommend a local Indy garage near Basildon / grays Essex ?

All sorted went to Fortune 4x4 in laindon to get a code read out compressor overheat codes was all reset and light now off etc

Guys said may last years may come back on next week didn't try and sell me the compressor or push me into getting it sorted

why did you disconnect the compressor stu?

I disconnected the wiring harness in the spare wheel well to check for a live feed and see if I could check the can bus lines etc but I think the ecu shut the system down so didn't get an plausible readings
