Went Flying today!

Today I finally cashed in a present from my parents, an introductory flight towards a potential PPL (Private Pilots Licence).

I went from Leicester Airport and had a female instructor called Charlene. Yes she IS Australian! It seemed to be over as soon as it began but crikey, afterwards I was still in the plane when I was driving home! Very Happy

A great experience, now I have to decide if I want to go for it or not..... Whistle Discovery 4 HSE

How long does the flight last for Adam , Thinking of getting the wife the same thing as she has always fancied the idea.

Is there any specific schedule involved, ie: Talking thru the basics,

Thumbs Up

The introductory flight is meant to be very high level and FUN not a learning experience.

There was no classroom lecture just straight into the plane and a few of the basics explained in the cockpit.

It was only for a 30 minute flight, one of those red letter gifts but it does count towards accumulating your hours towards a PPL. (45 hrs)

It was good, I want to go back up and do an hour and see how I feel then. You should go for it.
