United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue SE Td6 Cairns Blue

I have a Range Rover Vogue SE 55 plate and have noticed that the bluetooth system will not retain memory of my current mobile phone, or any other mobile I have tried.

On pairing a mobile to the cars bluetooth I'm asked if I want to pair automatically by the phone and choose yes, however every time I get into the car, the phone is not recognised and I have to pair it manually.

I have contacted the main dealer and they suggest the fault MIGHT be a couple of things which they would try (at my cost) bit I'm not prepared to pay for their trial and error.

Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.[/u]

1 is you phone on the compatable list

if it is you have two options Deal to fit new or try and re flash yours or buy a new unit and fit it your self

2 By an aftermarket kit that is compatable

I have a 2003 Range Rover Vogue with the in car phone in the arm rest. I want to have my iphone connected to my car via bluetooth and a craddle in the arm-rest. Can you tell me what all I need to do this?

I kina have an idea that I need to buy a ulf out of an x5 and get a cradle which I was hoping was plug and play in the arm-rest.

Any help appreciated!

Did you ever solve this?

My RR has the centre console phone and youve got me wondering if i could find a BMW cradle that fits the iphone ?

Ive got a Parrot CK3100 also fitted which works/pairs very well with the iphone. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

I never got round to it. Still intend to do it but it was working out to dear and I'didn't really know what I was at enough to spend hundreds of £ on something that might not work. Would love to hear from anybody who sorted this.

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Well, I bought all the bits last weekend. I got a ULF module off eBay, a pairing button/eject box, mic and antenna from BMW and set about fitting it all in.

First off, I re-wired the 54 pin plug in the boot, to accept the BMW unit. I then fitted the antenna and mic and then popped open the centre console lid, which is held together by 4 torx screws. Inside the lid is an 18pin plug which matches up exactly with the BMW pairing button/eject box (£60 +vat by the way for something you only need once!). That has to be re-wired as well to accept the BMW button.

After all that..... Nothing! I even hardwired the pairing button into the 54pin plug in case there was a problem with the wiring harness. Still no joy. I did get "TELEPHONE" appear on the Menu screen, which disappeared when the ULF was unplugged.

I may have just bought a faulty ULF, but there's no way of knowing. I've had a refund on it, so no drama. Just got to find another one now! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

It was v.3 - not sure if thats the problem or its a faulty unit (suspect the latter) I will keep trying though ! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
