Seat Conversion

Just wantd to know what the general consensus was on adding extra seating in the rear of the FFRR.

I know Overfinch and Revere do this conversion.

I came across this company http://www.blacktauto.com/vogue.htm and their seats look like they are factory fitted (I think). I emailed them and asked about the costs and fitting. As they are based in Australia, (I know!!) Neutral they can send the seats over and a good/reputable company here could fit them. The fitting I was assured is not hard at all.

Any thoughts?

I question the safety aspect myself, just like 7 seater MPV's, who'd want their kids so close to the crash zone? Discovery 4 HSE

I'd be a little worried with that. For starters, the seat bases are sitting on the spare wheel cover (unless they re-inforce it?).
Also - on the V5, it says 5 seats. I'm not sure and maybe someone can confirm this, but isn't it the case that once it's registered with DVLA as 5 seats, it cannot be changed? After all, the seats are an intergral part of the vehicle, which are subject to safety inspections, MOT's etc. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
