Redeemed…..

After spending 4 of the last 5 weeks immobile (gear selector swiftly followed by rotten brake disc guards) I am in love again. Wafting my wife and her sister around with wine and in comfort followed by van duty today. Three big tip runs. Versatile to say the least.

Can I ask if you replaced your brake guards DIY or at a garage?
How much was it?

This is a job I need on mine and I'm hoping its the cause of my handbrake woes. Sometimes it holds like a rock, others not so much. ---------------------------------

I had it done at a garage, the wheel, calipers and discs need to come off to get to it so beyond me. Bill was around £220 which given the parts where from Land Rover and about half of that total was quite a relief...

That seems reasonable.
I've heard the backplates are a beach of a job.
My indy refused to quote me.

Just to clarify, is this the rear backplate or the front shields? ---------------------------------
