mirror

i fitted a second hand BCU to my car some time ago and things worked that i didn't know existed.
one such thing was, when i put the car in reverse, the left mirror automatically adjusted its self, so i could see the curb, a great idea, put the car in drive and it returned to it normal position.
i decided to readjust the mirror and now that function no longer works.
any one any ideas how to reset it
thanks RR 2005 4.4 petrol

+1 on mirror dipping. My nearside mirror used to dip and following a battery change, my offside dips. I'd prefer nearside only.

I've checked on the vehicle settings and "mirror dip" is selected, so a bit confused and would appreciate a heads up on dipping mirrors for us eejits.

I think the mirror adjustment switch also has to be a certain side. Unless I’m confusing the TD6 with the TDV8…..
