Reversed into in car park!

To say I am peeved is an understatement, someone reversed into my vehicle this afternoon, looks like one of those awful bike racks scratched the rear tail gate. Probably looking at a minimum of £500 to put right …. Just blo*dy angry!

Commiserations my friend, sorry to hear your news.
Another £500 might buy you front & rear cameras with G-sensors, so at least you can have the satisfaction of nailing the next little weevil. Shame on all those spineless people with zero social conscience, dregs of the earth, but all too common these days unfortunately. Censored “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

I feel your pain wynn. This happened to me in a Sainsbury's car park when I had my old Saab 9-5 aero. Now when I'm in any carpark, I park furthest away from the entrance where I have loads of spaces next to me so they don't bash my door with theirs. I come out from shopping, hundreds of spaces and some woman with 3 kids in a golf park right next to mine, yes right next to it when there's plenty of other spaces. Just as I got by car the kids open the door, whack! Straight into mine. That was it, totally lost it with her. Demanded to know why she parked next to mine with plenty of other free spaces, asked if she was afraid her car would get lonely in its own space and asked why the hell the kids didn't wait for you to open the doors to let them out? Furious wasn't the word. Some drivers are just beyond help.

Yes, this is a thing, definitely.
What on EARTH is going through these peoples minds?
It happens all the time, you park miles away in a totally empty section of car park, but they choose to park right next to you? Why?

Maybe a resident Psychologist can explain to us? Question “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

The reason for them parking next to you is the way people are taught to drive these days...

They are taught to park next to another car as it's easier to see where you are going than looking at the lines on the road, if a slightly nervous driver then they will look for a car parked with nothing around it so your fatty is a great find...!!!

I found this out some years ago when I taught both daughters to drive but thought they better have a few "professional" lessons in case I had taught them some bad habit... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Pete

Any chance the car park has CCTV that captured the b****d?
