I apologise if this has been asked before but I want to get a gap tool to read my ecu file and send off to a tuner. I appreciate this can be done with BAS but I have a more local tuner I’d want to use (they can only do it by removing the ecu and doing it on the bench at the moment). My question is, can the ecu file be read, emailed then the new file flashed onto the ecu with the GAP tool if the tuner isn’t BAS?

Short answer, no. Only BAS can do this.
