2012 specs ?

I just saw this on the sport forum - 12MY RANGE ROVER SPORT PRODUCT BRIEF http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic23013.html

anyone have the same spec release yet for the MY2012 FFRR ?

All I know is the price went up by another £500 or thereabouts. Evil or Very Mad

Good! Have you seen that disgusting chrome strip they've added onto the tailgate for the Sport as well?

Yes, and they're putting the "Range Rover" lettering on the tailgate back in the correct place too.
That'll mean even more people can't tell the difference. Laughing

Peeps' frequent inability to tell the difference staggers me TBH.

I bought a new Zermatt D3 TDV6 S in 2006 and more than one person said to me "oooh, nice Range Rover". Incredible, especially as it displays no RR lettering (unlike the Sport, where confusion is slightly(!) better understood in that case, but not much!)

the power tailgate sounds like a good thing though on the sport.
I wonder if they'll add that on the L405 ? That would look pretty cool "bottom going up, top coming down" ooer that sounds a bit..... Embarassed
I presume they won't be daft & change to a one piece on the new model........

I do agree, but it does make reaching into the boot a real pain for those not long of limb.

Electric sliding floor would solve that.

Split tailgate is great for sitting and standing on.

Electric tailgate? Electric sliding floor? Come on guys, neither of these will be useful 80% of the time because there'll be a message on the instrument cluster saying 'battery too low for operation.' wonder how many sports we will see driving around with tailgates half closed Wink
