Ball Joint screw size

Hi Guys just trying to do the arms on my 2004 l322



im not sure what size these screws are ive seen some people saying they are an M10, my m10 bit is way to big to fit. could they have been changed before? or anyone know whats the typical size

If you are asking of the ball joint thread... Type Ball Joint. External Thread Size M14 x 1,5. LAND ROVER RBK000010 . I you want the tread of the retaining torx screws they are M10 x 20mm. If you are changing the retaining torx screws do yourself a big favour and get normal hex head bolts, it will make your life so much easier especially if the new ball joint is a very tight fit.

I have done this now on 4 cars and even in Australia with zero rust they have all been a pain to get out hence replacing with proper bolts to press the new in. On the earlier pre facelift cars getting the balljoints out and in proved a real task as they were so tight, on two facelift cars they came out and went in with ease, not sure why a difference. 2007 TDV8 VSE
