So much bad publicity for car meets and gatherings in the MSM just recently, the roads around Manchester Airport being the most recent.
Unauthorised car meets taking place around retail parks and other public spaces, police involved, councils vowing crackdowns. Trouble is, we are a nation that always uses a sledge hammer to crack a nut.

There's going to be some excitement in our anti motorist money grabbing councils as they push for licensing for all car meets and shows, mainly because they'll be too lazy or stupid to sort the wheat from the chaff, the good from the bad. They won't recognise a correctly organised event from a few idiots doing doughnuts in a Tesco car park.

We need to be aware of this and make sure we push the positive side of car events.

I think that provided that you are acting legally, not causing an obstruction or nuisance and acting with the landowners consent I don't think the Rozzers can do anything at all.

ACE Cafe in London simply couldn't exist and a ton of country pubs around me, in the countyside, would also have to close if it weren't for the weekend bikers keeping them going.
