That's just a sticker for the back of the car. There should be a small box thingy that goes in the windscreen

You don't need the sticker. It's just the company providing you with an UK plate in case you don't have one and, of course, advertising them.

You do need an UK sticker or it incorporated in your number plate. "GB" is no longer permitted. John

Actually, we Swiss also need our “CH” sticker. I travel to Andalusia several times a year and have never had any problems because I don't have a “CH”. Only Italy causes problems without.
Toll tag; as soon as I have a dashcam installed, my tag doesn't work, so be aware of dashcams.

Our tag lives in the glove box and gets pulled out when needed, just a thought if there's interference with dash cams

i believe its the wifi/BT type dashcams that affect the tag..

my tag is up on the windscreen all the time and my non-wifi dashcam works ok . ... - .- -.

Have had issues with the dashcam affecting the toll tag in the past. I just unplug the camera on the toll roads.

As said that’s just a free sticker for the back of the car in case you don’t have one…. Stick it on the window as they can be a pain to remove, I put one on the back of my caravan and I can’t get the bleeding thing off, much easier to remove from glass and you can take a blade to it if it is tricky to get off.

Be aware Dash cam footage from France can only be shared with police. Not online they have different rules on the continent than in the UK. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
