L322 TD6 Engine Mounts

Has anyone replaced them using BMW X53 3.0d mounts?

I have not been able to get detailed accurate images of the Range Rover mounts and there are 2 part No.s for the L322 TD6 (left / right) whereas the BMW lists a single part No. for both sides??

Is it as simple as the right angle vacuum take off pipes are pointing in different directions on the L£22 resulting in two part No.s or are there differences in the flange etc due to differences in the body/sub frame side of attachment.

I have good vacuum at idle on both mounts but there is engine vibration at idle in drive that makes me think they may be tired. Car is 165,000 miles. I won't spend out over £560 to get a pair of LR items on the off-chance they are worn but the BMW ones are available (Ridex for example) at £65 each which is less of a gamble Current: 2003 TD6 HSE. 161,000 miles

They are definitely different regarding the flange. Look at this thread: https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/post691966.html#691966

I changed mine to the M62 mounts but after a year of driving with them I will get the original ones for the M57 again, the vibrations are to bad in the cabin at idle. While driving it's not a problem at all though.

Thanks for the info. I have now established that the BMW X5 units have a different shape to the fitting that attaches to the engine brackets.

In those photos the LR units look identical to me just rotated 180 degrees between the left and right sides Current: 2003 TD6 HSE. 161,000 miles

From my memory I'm pretty sure they are different for each side.
