Air box removal

I started out with all good intentions of changing my air filters and typically, I have a rounded screw on both air boxes. You know which one it is, the one at the back in the middle.

I can’t get a drill bit in there to drill them out, so was going to remove the air boxes and do it on the bench.

Any tips on removing the air boxes ?

Thanks !

Sorted - Woody to the rescue !

They’re held in place by 3 spigots which go into the body. 2 on the side and one on the bottom. A bit of leverage with some 2x2 or similar to lever off the side ones, then lift it out of the bottom one.

Removing the vacuum hose and elbows and any cables of course.

Off to have a go…
