Engine not stopping immediately when button pressed - SDV8

Hi all,

Just had a bit of anxiety when I pressed the stop start button at the end of a journey, and the engine took a few seconds to stop. However when I googled, a post came up from the RRS forum with a quote from the Owners Manual saying that a delay of up to 12 seconds was normal?

Just checking if this is something I should worry about or not, it's a 2013 model SDV8.

Check for any stored engine faults especially relating to air-flow as these sometimes cause a delay in shutting-down.
