Thick profile / bulging out tyres

Dear folks - I can't park without kerbing my wheel rims.
[I know, I know]. I think it may stem from not wanting the old lady to get side-swiped (as has happened before) and so trying to hug the kerb.

Does anyone run thick profile tyres which effectively bulge out / have a deep sidewall, reducing this issue?

Thanks, as always.

Friend fitted these to his P38 (for use on the farm only). They were a set of 'wets' for a Ferrari F40 GT racer Rolling with laughter Plenty of side wall there to protect the rims.

All comes down to tyre width over rim width, so you can run any tyre, say 275/50, it's going to project beyond the rim more than a 255/50.

Sidewall depth is down to the ratio, so you could drop a rim size, say to 19" and go with a 275/60 19 AT3 or some other similar tyre I think is your best bet.
