Spanish car rentals

Been looking through spanish car rentals sites and prices are getting a bit silly , 4 weeks rental of a Family saloon averaging out at about €1300 / €1800 ... Shocked Shocked

you could do a top gear thingy and buy a cheap motor at the beginning of the holiday then sell it at the end..

I've just booked a Focus for some of my guys in Switzerland for a couple of weeks, including damage waiver etc for £490 via Carhire3000.com , which did not seem too bad.

Surely Spain's got to be cheaper?

Not sure if this helps but I recently used http://www.arcarhire.com/car-hire/car-hire.php in the Canaries and the service, prices and cars were amazing. They did not try to sell me anything and I got the keys within three minutes!!!!

We have have always used these guys......... just came back from Spain as it happens...............

They are UK based so answerable if there is an issue.

Never had a problem with them. Wink Currently running FFRR MY10 TDV8 3.6L and a Disco 3 XS Commercial (tank like but very effective as a Company van). Plus one mint condition Track Day Car in the form of an E36 M3 3.2L Evolution circa June 1996 with lots of go faster bits and only 52k miles on the clock! Oh, plus a few bits to make it slow down really quickly as well! Luvverly.

Why not drive??

Surely it would work out cheaper taking the FFRR there using eurotunnel or ferry straight there from a northern-ish port then flying and hiring while out there at those rates? maybe hire 2 cheapo small cars so you have 1 each for all your kit lol
