Hi all,

Long term lurker of the forum - I jut signed up at the weekend.

I had a P38 4.6 Thor about seven or eight years but that blew up on the side of the M4. I've been a fan of the L322 for ages. I had a PPI completed on a 4.2 S/C yesterday but it had a few issues including rusty sills, so the search continues.

Mark

Welcome.

I think you will find quite a few like that now. They are getting on a bit now, plus the later cars used less quality steel with more of a recycled element, so they also tend to rust moreā€¦.

Obviously there will be nice ones about but a few will have the arches and sills repaired already.

Thanks. I think it is understandable given the age of them. I've already got some rusty cars though, so I need at least one with decent metal!

Thanks for the welcome.

You would be better off getting one with knackered sills and getting them sorted all l322 end up with the sills going so even if it appears ok it wont be unless done recently
Negotiate the price down Thumbs Up
