Should I purchase such a 4.4TDV8?

May I ask if a 4.4TDV8 that has traveled 186,411 miles (300,000 km) and had its main and auxiliary turbines replaced 2017 years ago is worth buying?

If the price is right & you can see evidence that’s she’s been looked after…..why not.
These old girls, properly looked after, will do double that mileage. Heaps of invoices is what you need.
The only thing I’d pick up on, is both turbos being replaced 8 yrs ago at, say, 100k miles? Very unusual these turbos play up.
Keep us informed please. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

First, I can see the maintenance records of this car at the dealership, from 2012 to 2018. Then, the vehicle underwent repairs in October 2017, replacing the turbochargers on both sides, with the mileage recorded at 240,000 km. I was actually quite surprised by the mileage, so I'm very hesitant about whether this car has been overused.

Mileage is just a number……simple as that. 180k miles is high but not high enough to put me off. These girls rev so low & therefore don’t get stressed. History…..history…..history as long as she’s been looked after, and that includes gearbox etc and the price is right, go for it. Gut feeling will normally be a good indication. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

Yes, if it has been Maintained.

But they do have issues.

I have had to have a new Oil Cooler and two Starter motors in 12,000 miles.
Both Seat Heaters Failed top front

2012 Westminster Purchased 2019 54,000 miles. now 66,000 Miles.

Very inspiring response! It sounds like it gives me the confidence to take a good look at this car.

Okay, indeed maintenance is important. My only concern is that the maintenance records from 18 years ago to now are missing. Also, there have been several changes of ownership. But your mileage is really enviable, it's so low.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

I was told i needed both turbos replacing despite no smoke or noise and perfect functioning turbos until the restricted performance light illuminated. This was by a land rover specialist.

I actually needed a new actuator on the secondary turbo and both turbos were perfect.

Just because it's had new turbos it doesn't mean it needed new turbos. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini black ivory leather
