I've found recently that when I try to access You Tube to play a video I get a message saying I have an Ad Blocker and it wont allow it. I'm not sure if I have an Ad Blocker on my Mac I certainly didn't install one but hey ho You Tube has spoken.
However I do have a VPN running all the time routing through London (sometimes there is confusion as some apps think I live down there) I got the VPN because one of the sites I visit (not porn of any type) requires it, but initially I had to switch it off to do online banking as the banks didn't like VPNs, that seems to be sorted now.
So as a test I set my VPN to route through Albania (first on the list) not London and YouTube seems to work OK but its noticeable slower.
So I don't know if it will work for everyone, I don't even know if it's legal and of course I lose sleep as I am possibly am denying Meta a bit of advertising revenue. However its worth a try if you have a VPN an Ad Blocker and you want to watch YouTube and you think Mark Zuckerberg is wealthy enough.. Geoff
