Yeah sounds like a good idea mate. Definitely on the list. I went out of my way to make sure I got one with no rust on the tailgate and rear arches. There’s no comments on previous MOTs about corrosion on the subframe or anything so it’s in good shape. I will probably treat it to a full detail clean and polish so that would be an ideal time to try and do as much rust proofing as possible |

Thanks for the tip Chris, I’ll give that a go and see if it works.

Mine said exactly the same- the instructions tell you to flick that switch to where I think you have it when using an iPhone and I did the same- I just had aux on dashboard and scratched my head- the lights on the Invery weren’t on also- took it off switch it back reconnected and it’s all good. I bought mine this week- I was sceptical with them as I’ve tried to use on ML and S class Merc before but was rubbish- but on my L322 defo works well and no drop outs |

Thank for this mate! I will give that a go this evening and report back. Hopefully it resolves the issue as I hate having the aux cable plugged into the back |

I tried to fix it this weekend but still nothing. I’ve got a feeling there is some problem with the socket/wiring that goes under the centre console. The Invery comes on if I connect it to a USB charger but using the iPod socket in the car it doesn’t so it’s like there’s no power going to it. Current: 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

When nothing is plugged into the USB, IPod socket- what comes up on the screen? 3 options? USB, iPod, Aux? If you still get the same then it’s probably as you say a connection or config problem Range Rover L322 Westminster 4.4TDV8 (current)

It only shows AUX as an option mate so yeah I think there must be some other issue with it. Strange one really! Current: 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8
