OBDII Extension with Power Switch

Does anybody have any experience of and recommendations for an OBDII port extension cable that has a switch to allow you to leave a reader plugged in and be able to switch it off/on to prevent battery drawdown when not in use? Thumbs Up _______________________________________________

Love to know what any of them recommend. I ask because I have found that there are a lot of cables about that state 16 pin pass through that then turns out to only have 8 pins wired, dont want to get another duff one! _______________________________________________

Mine doesn’t have a power on/off switch., but I leave it plugged in permanently and just plug in Gap iid when needed.
Its main purpose is to prevent ware and tare on the car socket by regularly using iid, but it also stops my foot accidentally dislodging the iid when driving.
