Another Drivers door lock thread

I previously had an issue with the drivers door barrel not working.
I stripped it down and found it was the common broken internals.
Ordered a kit onine and fitted it but turning the key still did not lock/unlock the door.

Today I finally took the drivers door car off and found that the pin from the key barrel was misaligned.
Happy days, can now lock and unlock using the key.

Although, now the door will not lock and unlock with the central locking.

I've been combing threads all day looking for a solution.

One thing that I have noticed in my situation is that while all the functions work from the drivers door control (windows, mirrors) I cannot reset the one touch close on the drivers window. One touch open works fine.

I used my GAPIID tool to clear faults and in there I noticed in the BCM test that I can actuate the drivers door window open but not closed.

Am I looking at broken wires or connectors here from removing the door card?

F11 in the fuse box for the drivers door module is ok. ---------------------------------

Just to update this, I've noticed that while the fob operates the other three doors, there is no flash from the indicators and no alarm light on the dash.

Should I just keep trying the BCM battery hard reset procedure until it works again? ---------------------------------

The forum search function is working again and I have found this thread:
https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic31095.html
which sounds as if it could be similar, although my puddle lights and speakers are working.

I've left the battery disconnected with a view to trying again in the morning and checking all connections again. ---------------------------------

Panic over, it was the black connector as in boydonegood's thread.

Had the card on and off several times yesterday and was sure all was secure. ---------------------------------
