Hi guys been having this fault flash up regular amber light saying vehicle lean when cornering car runs completely fine no issues once I cleared the fault with GAP it goes away but came back after few days. The active dynamics system works to control lean on cornering using hydraulics ... the car knows how much it should lean, and if its beyond that, it'll throw errors.

Most likely culprit is a leak in the hydraulic system / lost pressure ... which is most likely the ACE pipework. Short term fix would be to fill more fluid back into the system, only for it to leak more.

Also look underneath for wet oil patches ... the pipes run under the LHS sill area to the rear back of the axle ... any wet oil would indicate leaking pipes ( due to corrosion )

A quick search for ACE pipes and similar should lead you down the rabbit hole. V8 or else ...

Ok.

The valve block for the ACE system is bolted to the sill under the passenger seat a little rearward of the jacking point. To get at it, you will need to remove the plastic still guard / tray on that side. (Not really that hard to be honest ... lots of daft pop-rivets and some bolts.)

If I remember rightly, the wiring connectors seem to go into the top of the valve block, and the hydraulic pipes come out the bottom.

On my RR, there is gap / space around the jacking point which allows mud grit and water to be thrown up by the front wheel the inside of the sill tray and all over the valve block .... where the connectors are. the topside of the block was caked in mud and dirt which I cleaned off. I had thought about getting some sort of guard to cover the gap made.

Its *possible* that such muck and grime could be affecting the connectors / wiring, causing shorting. Possibly helped by the salt on the roads too.

As a first port of call, it may be worth looking at that. V8 or else ...

Hi just to clarify then it’s the front valve block & not the rear as it states rear valve block on the fault code of IID TOOL.
