How can I tell if my 2015 4.4sdi L405 Autobiography has an open rear diff or an electronic one?

the electric diff has a box thing on the top and connector/wires coming to it. the open diff will just have a breather pipe. V8 or else ...

Is there a way to find out without needing to crawl under the car..?

I read somewhere that all Autobiography model's had them.. Is that correct?

Hi flyboy, not all A/B’s had them unfortunately, I had a 2015 without, now have a 2020 that does. If you go to the 4x4 screen you will see a little picture of a padlock next to the centre diff, if there is also one next to the rear diff it has one, if not it doesn’t. Also if you drive observing the 4x4 screen orange segments light up to show the diff is in a state of locking as you set off.
