Why does the gearbox park light on the center console and the light for the rear windows isolated indicator remain illuminated when the vehicle is locked? Confused

They remain lit while the cars brain is still on, they will go off after about 10mins when the BeCM goes to sleep and the car shuts down propperly.

This must be what was confusing the AA man when he came to start mine off a flat battery then. He put a clamp meter on the battery cable and checked for voltage drop and it was showing 5 amps drain. It did start to drop after a while though. Having said that, i could do with checking it after an hour or so just to make sure! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Yer after 30mins I think it should be asleep. The old P38 RR used to have problems with wireless doorbells keeping them awake causing lots of flat battery's.
