Dosen't make sense, at the start of the video there is a van in the drive & a tree at the entrance, then the van has vanished & the area where it sat has shrunk with no tree Whistle

D-oh guys!!! Laughing

Come on, go take another look, and read the text properly, -the other pic is not the same driveway, it’s a NEIGHBOURS driveway in the same street, showing the villains walking past, as it clearly states in the story. Rolling Eyes

Try watching the full video. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Read this article, the owner should have ignored the LR sales staff bullshit company PR claim that it was literally impossible to steal and had the Ghost system fitted immediately.

Reading the article the owner stated that he told them he was thinking of having the Ghost system fitted, but was dissuaded by the sales idiot Thud

Having the Ghost system fitted would have been peanuts after spending that much money on the car.

LR salesman, as reliable as Bob the F***ing builder.

I blame the owner, how could you be that dumb as to believe the salesman who's only goal is to seperate you from your cash, you spend £183k on a car but not £5k for a decent sunken drive bollard to stop someone nicking it.

These guys LR trained obviously or at least something of an inside job. Overcame the door locks, bypassed the LR immobiiser, cancelled the alarm and disabled the tracker all in 15 minutes in the middle of the night without making any noise. Whistle

Not condoning, but that's some talent right there.

I think I would have parked the van (as I do at home with SWMBO's car) blocking the drive. I also wish that I had £180+k to drop on a new car. Geoff

If the salesman really did put them off a Ghost it has to be a strong possibility that he's the inside man and passing on the vulnerable addresses to those that want them. I expect salesmen would get a commission on Ghost, but presumably more for the info on the vulnerable. Mike - MPx

I doubt if they just happened to come across this car. Someone tipped them off. Could never be someone from the dealership Whistle Shocked
