Use a 3 tonne trolley jack. Sorry, no idea what a sprinter is or whether suitable. 2016 SDV8 AB |

I think the jack referred to is a bottle jack which is part of the Mercedes sprinter van tool kit. |

Sprinter jack was popular with the L322, but doesn't work with the L405.

I will for work in the drive. I was thinking more of something to throw in with the spare wheel instead of the chocolate one…. 2021 3.0 P400 Vogue 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - gone! 2007 3.6 TDV8 Vogue - gone! 2003 V8 HSE (LPG) - gone! 2018 F-Pace 25t Portfolio 1974 LR Series III Lightweight FFR 2014 BMW 640i Gran Coupe |

I think I would call the breakdown service if out on the road with a flat...

I had a flat and I called out the RAC (thats why I joined) and wheel changing was an easy although I did help manhandle the 22" alloy out of the boot. All changed by the time I finished my coffee and I didn't get my hands dirty or raise a sweat..

I get “free” RAC Membership, Mobile Phone insurance, and Travel Insurance with my bank account, it’s a no-brainer. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that? |

I used to get it free when I earned a lot, but now I am a struggling old age pensioner so have to pay £30/ month to the bank plus a bit extra for travel insurance (over 70) but its worth it not to have the hassle of working. Geoff |

I've got trolley jacks (and a sprinter!) at home but had to use the chocolate one when I actually had a flat on the road. Seemed to work and saved me a couple of hours waiting...I'm too old to wait around! Mike - MPx
