It really is a funny market at the moment, even by FF standards.

I’ve got an itch that needs scratching for a late L322. Prices vary between £8k and £22k for essentially the same car (if the adverts are to be believed) Shocked

I've just started looking and finding the same, purchased a fair amount of used cars for personal use and trying to figure out the market for these and what is priced sensibly is tricky!

Good luck with sale OP

I may get told to politely "p**5 off" but you never know until you ask. I purchased my other half a 2014 Lexus RX450H in November for £13500 that we have just successfully rejected and are returning on Saturday. This is really our budget on a truck driver and administrators salary but your car looks very nice.

I have a 2012 L322 4.4 TDV8 that I am keeping as I love the car to bits.

If I could secure the fu as would you let yours go for £18,000?

Kind Regards

I agree with others. You’ve got to clean a car to sell it. I hate cleaning cars so I sympathise.

GLWTS 👍

It’s clean now but I can’t delete the original pictures to add new ones.

The whole thing is so bloody frustrating, I bought this with the intention of keeping it because of its condition. So I did all the bits that might go wrong or were niggles. The plan is to relocate to France, what I didn’t realise is the tax implications of importing and registration of a UK vehicle like this. The cost is ridiculous.

Might be worth checking the rules if it’s “your” car as opposed to one you are simply importing for another purpose. It might be possible without incurring the fees.

I say this because this chap did some interesting content on the rules in the Rep of Ireland but didn’t apply to him as he’d owned the car for over 6 months prior to moving there.

?

Also worth checking out the information on Transfer of Residency in the forums below;

https://community.hmrc.gov.uk/customerforu...22481ba0ff

These people are also worth enquiring with but bear in mind they charge commercially for stuff yiu can do yourself if you know what forms to fill in, they normally deal with imports but can do the other way I believe;

Thanks for the information, it is really interesting that the French information differs dramatically from the UK information. I’m still convinced according to thr French government website that even if is my own vehicle I must pay 30% of the French value of the car reduced by 50% if over ten years old. Then there is the emissions charge and carte gris. I have spoken to a company that manages relocation documentation for people moving abroad and they agree that French rules trump UK rules.

I use Motorway to see what a car is worth
They're offering £18,251 so the price is about right
