United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Mariana Black
3.0 TDV6 which coolant

Done an interim service on my car inside had it for six months. Changed the oil, filter and air filter.

Checked the coolant and it seems to be a little below max. So I’m going to get a litre just to top up.

Just checking which coolant I need. OAT? G12, G13? Orange or pink?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Havoline XLC is specified by JLR:

For the L322 TD6 BMW recommends OAT coolant. The TD6 is a BMW M57, so it 'should' be blue OAT.
Did Ford continue using blue coolant when the changed to the Jag engines, or go to green or red? Probably. But who knows what the previous owner put in?

Get some out and look at it.

bye. 2003 TD6, EGR delete, vortex crankcase breather update, performance chip, UHF 2 way, Android head unit, crash camera on dash, always-on rear view camera to mirror screen, LED DRL`s, Electric trailer brake controller. FSR replaced. Pulling 3T caravan all about Australia

Er, as we folks all know that’s totally incorrect, we are talking about the TDV6 engine as used in the L405 FFRR.

It’s a Ford/PSA Lion engine, not BMW!!! Rolling Eyes “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Try finding it! I bought some a year ago. Can't find any now.

Fantastic! Thanks! Your search skills must be better than mine.
In the meantime I bought some Liquid Moly coolant. Finding coolant that specifies that it meets the JLR spec is harder than finding oil that meets the necessary spec!
